I stare like an i***t in bewilderment at her expanding, very much visible aura. Assuming this is her aura, that is. I don’t think I have ever seen a visible aura?
I’m pretty sure my mouth is hanging open in shock like a freaking cartoon, but I doubt anyone will notice right now. All eyes are on the woman in front of us, and every wolf around us has gone dead silent. You could hear a feather drop right about now. Except for Valentina’s ragged breaths, those are loud and clear (for all to hear). When her aura has stretched out all the way around her pack as she calls them, it stops expanding. It doesn’t seem coincidental to have stopped there, which begs the question – what function does it have?
Although the color is mostly golden, there is something dark infused as well. Sin
