The Love I See In You

Damon's POV

Okay so I have been cracking my head trying to win Hannah's heart and she had basically shot me down every time. I even spoke to William about it.

I used to think that I knew more about women than him. Right now that seems like a lie because for once in his life he might have even fallen in love.

I can safely say that whoever that woman was, she has changed him. The old me would think that he was p***y whipped but now I can see that it's love.

She must be one special lady. I have never seen this side of William and I must say that it has started to rub off on me.

He seems more happy than I have ever seen him before. William is even talking about marriage and kids with his lady.

I want what he has, but with Hannah. William told me that I won't get Hannah the way I used to get other girls because she is not like other girls.

I always had a secret weapon. I could practically get any girl I want, at a price of course and even I can tell you that I have had plenty.

When you have money, you don't even have to sweat it out. Well at least I thought so. Until I met Hannah three years ago. If I where to be honest with myself I'd say that I fell for her the moment I saw her.

In the end I got a kick in my nuts. So what William and I have both established is that Hannah can't be bought. I had to try out a completely new thing.

First part of that is taking her out on dates. This is uncharted territory for me. I don't go out on dates and since I've always had money, I've always splurged.

I would have to tone it down a bit with Hannah. She's not that kind of girl. After cracking my head the whole weekend I decided that I would take things slow, that means nothing over the top, so I started with flowers and now it was a breakfast date.

I had asked Vivian to kindly let her spend an hour with me in the morning. She said that she would let that happen only if she said yes. I don't think she had anticipated on her agreeing on it.

This is because Vivian has been telling that I don't have a chance with Hannah, she said that she won't give me the time of day.

So after booking out her favourite restaurant for our first date, I went to ask her out for breakfast. I wasn't going to take No for an answer.

So I went to her work place and offered to take her to breakfast and enjoy some time together with her. She said yes and now we're are on her way to her favorites restaurant.

We get there and William opens the door for us, I get out and she follows me. We walk to the door and the hostess greets us at the door.

She leads us to our table for two where a breakfast spread of all her favourites have already been setup for us.

"Did you book out the whole restaurant?" She asked in ewe. She couldn't believe that it was just us two.

"Yes but only for an hour." I said with a smile.

"Thanks but it really wasn't necessary, we could have just had Starbucks coffee and croissants." She said as took a sip of coffee.

"I didn't want any disturbances this morning, I want you all to myself." I said with a smile.

"Okay, Now that we're here... what do you want to tell me?" She asked as she took a bite of a chocolate croissants.

I look at chew and it's the sexiest thing I've ever seen. Her lips are plump and full, she has perfect teeth, Hannah was just perfect.

"Well, I thought that we can talk about going out for dinner tomorrow night." I said with a straight face.

"Dinner? Is it a date?" She asked with a smile.

"Yes, it's a date." I said as I took a sip of my coffee.

At this point, hearing her talk like this, I can say that I am finally getting through to her. If she says yes then tomorrow night I'm going to blow her away.

I want her to see how serious I was about having her in my life. I thought I had everything I could ever ask for, but at the end of the night, a lonely bed is no man's best friend.

I just didn't want someone to share a bed with though. I wanted someone to share my whole entire life with.

"Okay then, I guess we're going on a date tomorrow." She said with a smile.

I nearly fell off the chair when I heard said that she would go out on date with me. I called it a date and she agreed. I guess the ice was finally melting.

We have our lunch and by the end of our breakfast date, She had told me about her grandmother who raised her from when she was just ten years old.

She also told me about her mother who left her when she was ten years old. She also said that she had failed to find her after years of searching.

I now knew what to do for her. I will tell William to look for her and find her for me. If Hannah wants to see her mother then I'll make her wishes come true.

William was a specialist in many fields. He was more than just a bodyguard and if anyone could find her, it would be him.

I took her back to her office and I tried my luck with a hug and she gave me a kiss on the cheeks and thanked me for her breakfast.

It's not a kiss I would have liked to get from her but at this point I'll take anything she has to offer.

After dropping her off I went to my head office and I got my work day started. I had a lot to do but still I couldn't stop thinking about Hannah.

Two hours after having lunch, I had had enough and decided to call her. She answered on the second ring.

"Mr Heights." She said in a sweet voice.

"I just had to hear your voice." I said. It was the truth. I really did miss her.

"Wow Damon, It's only been two hours since I last saw you." She said as she laughed a bit.

"I know but still, I had to." I said to her.

"Alright then, Now that you have heard my voice can I get back to work?" she said. I can only imagine her smile when she said that.

"Yes you may but I wanted to ask you if I can see you later?" I know it was a long shot but I have to give a try.

"Damon I'll see you tomorrow night okay? " she said and hung up her phone.

Well you can't blame me for trying. Hannah has no idea the kind of effect she has on me. I would love to spend every minute of my day looking into her beautiful eyes.

"Damon I'm going out for a bit, are you gonna need anything?" William asked me. I didn't even notice that he had walked into my office.

"No I don't need anything. Are you going to see her." I know he knows who I'm talking about.

I meant that mystery woman that she has been keeping to himself all along. I have to meet this woman one of these days.

"You do know that I have to meet her at some point right?" I said.

"Yes I do, but for now just know that I'm happy and that I'm treating her like a queen." He said as he walked out of my office.

I know I had invited Hannah to dinner but I had no idea where I was going to take her. It had to be really special. Something I've never done before.

I'll probably think of something later. All I know is that Hannah will be mine wether she knows it or not.

Yeah I know you probably think I'm whipped right? Probably but who cares? you would feel the same if you where me.

I went back to my work and tried my best to work even though Hannah was all I could think about.

My phone buzzez on my table and I take a look at who it is, it's an unknown number so I ignore it and go back to my work.

By the end of the night I'm exhausted and the only thing I need is my bed. Still I don't go home. There's just something I have to do first.

I tell William to take another car as I will be driving myself back home because I wanted to go somewhere.

He asked if he should send a security detail with me but I was good, I should be okay for an hour or so being alone.

I went into my car and started driving. I didn't know where I was going but I ended outside Hanna's house.

I was contemplating going in when I saw her friend coming with a box of pizza. I decided that I would join the ladies since I hadn't had any pizza in a long time.

But it was just one box which won't be enough if I join in. I drove to the pizza place and ordered two more pizzas, I also decided to buy some beer as well.

If I was going to crush their party for two, I had to come bearing gifts. I just hope that Hannah won't kick me out.
