Hannah's POV

It's Thursday and I'm so excited about the dinner date I have with Damon later. He has been a perfect gentleman this last few days. Things have been good between us and I'm giving him a shot.

I mean everyone makes mistakes and I guess I can say that he might have learned from his. Guess time will tell how things are going to be for us.

For now I'm so glad that I'm having an early morning but it's not entirely for work. I decided to book myself some waxing and a facial. I wanted tonight to be perfect.

Well I guess having a friend who managed the place also came in handy. Linda was so excited about my date that she offered to primp me up herself, so she came in early for me.

"So how about a new hairstyle? " Linda said after giving me my facial.

I have been thinking about changing my hair but I didn't want want anything hectic. I just wanted to look different but in a good way.

"Well I don't want anything too dramatic." I told her, because I know that she can get a little carried away sometimes.

"Well I was thinking maybe a bang and perhaps some new colour? "

See what I mean? I told her that I don't want anything dramatic and she's already being dramatic.

"You know what? Let's just wash my hair and curl it, no colour and definitely no cutting."

I didn't want it to look like I was trying too hard. I was wearing a modest dress so it had to match my hairstyle.

By the end of my beauty appointment I was ready for work and even more happy that I was early as usual. Well not as other days but still early.

I didn't see my boss's car so I thought I'd be the only one in the office. Whilst walking to my office I once again saw my boss with William.

There's no denying that she has been having a relationship with him. Even worse she asked me to keep it a secret. I agreed but I don't know if I can.

I mean Damon is finally becoming the man I want and so I can't be lying or keeping secrets from him. She has to tell him or I will .

At the moment I'm caught between a rock and a hard place. I have been avoiding her the entire day and when I saw her I didn't stay longer than I had to.

"Hey beautiful..." Damon said and startled me as he stood by the door with flowers in his hands. I was so lost in my thoughts that i didn't even hear him standing there.

"Hey you... How long have you been standing there?" I asked him because I had no idea where he came from.

"Long enough to see that you have been thinking hard. What's on your mind? " He asked.

I don't know what to say to him. I don't want to lie to him but I also don't want to tell him about Vivian and his bodyguard because I don't know how he would react to that.

"I have a lot on my mind." That wasn't a lie. I really had a lot on my mind.

"I hope that our date is on the top of your list, here, these are for you." He said as he gave me the beautiful flowers he had on his hands.

"Thank you Mr Heights, These are beautiful..." I said as I took the flowers from his hands.

"Not as beautiful as you are." he said he gave me a kiss on the forehead.

I would have preferred to have had that kiss on the lips though. I know I liked the it the first time he kissed me.

I was so embarrassed that I like it so much I had to kick his balls. I just didn't want him to know that I did and I'm beginning to think that Linda might have been right.

I mean maybe the real reason I didn't like him so much was because he had an effect on me, one I was trying very hard to keep it to myself.

"So did you drive to the other side of town just to deliver these beautiful flowers to me?" I asked with a smile.

This is because I know that he had tons of business to do and I don't think that he has time to drive all the way here just to give me flowers.

"Yes, I just had to see you." He said with a smile that touched his eyes. I know he meant it too.

"Okay then, Since you came all the way out here, how about a cup of coffee?" I asked hoping that he would say yes.

"Water will be fine, If I had another cup of coffee I'd bounce off the walls." He said as he sat down.

I had a fridge in my office and I gave him bottled water. He took it and immediately took a sip of it, without a glass that is.

"Is William with you? " I asked him wanting to see if he might have any clue about was happening between William and Vivian.

"Babe, I'm always with William, He's with Vivian, Sometimes I wonder who's best friend William is" He said with a smile.

I can tell that he really cares for the both of them. Vivian is his only sibling so it comes naturally that he would care for her.

From what I heard, William was also a good friend of his. I might even say that he might take William as more than just an employee but family.

I have also met both of his parents. His mother is kind woman, his father is also kind but he can be judgemental.

I heard how they gushed over some pregnant pregnant lady and her husband, I think they said she's a doctor or something. It was like they where rubbing it on Vivian's face.

"Well now that I have seen your beautiful face, I can get back to my work." He said and got up.

I walked him to the door and he took my hand in his. He looked at me staring into my eyes and said that he would see me later.

Just as he was about to leave, William came out of Vivian's office with a huge smile. I can only imagine what they where doing in that office.

"Hannah..." He said as walked passed me.

"William.." I said.

Damon gave me another kiss on my forehead and left the building. I watched him walk out.

I decided to knock off right then. this is because I was still avoiding Vivian. I didn't even want to tell her that I was leaving. Instead I wrote a note that something came up and I had to go.

I still had to collect my dress from the dry cleaners. I had only worn it once, I wasn't about to buy a new dress when I had so many in my closet.
