When I was younger, I always thought that my life would never mean much. It is hard to stay positive when a child grows up like I did. I am not proud of my childhood, so I often pretend it never existed. Like I am not that girl from a trailer park.
Growing up for me was not a fun experience. I was always the prettiest girl in the room, I was also coming from the most broken home of all. An alcoholic mother who didn't even know what was going on half the time and an abusive father.
My father was oblivious to everything, not me and not my little sister. I don't even know why they had another baby when life was already so hard for us. Then one day I came back from school and found my mother lying on the floor with a needle sticking out her arms.
