Hope's POV
My life is not how I thought it would turn out, if anything, it is far from what I ever imagined. I don't know how much longer I can stand this life, I am afraid that I might have reached my breaking point.
Xavier told me what he was, he told me the truth and it didn't free me like I thought it would. I thought that maybe if I heard him say it with his own mouth. Then maybe my heart might listen to what my mind has been saying. I blame my mother and I blame Gina for what happened.
My mother was supposed to be there for me, she was supposed to guide me through life and prepare me for things like this, instead, she chose to leave me. Then there is Gina. She was the only mother figure I had in my life.
Gina had a daughter as old as I was and she didn't do any better with her
