I don't know what I would have done if it was not for Kim, she came through for me. I received the money and it was more than what I expected it to be, it is going to help me with everything I need for my son and most importantly, I can now afford to talk to a lawyer. I called in last night and made an appointment to see a family lawyer, one that specializes in cases like this.
I asked my neighbour Mrs Thompson to watch over my son while I ran some errands. I didn't tell her what I was going to do. This is a small town and I know that she is wondering why I am back here after so many years, wondering who's the father of my child, and most importantly, they just need someone to gossip about.
