Hope's POV
I have been back from my honeymoon for a week and I haven't seen or spoken to Bethany, because I haven't tried. I have been trying to call her since I came back but with no luck. I am beginning to get worried.
She told me that she wouldn't be working for a while, and she said something about trying to fix things with her man. I regret not asking for the name of that man. At least I could ask him her whereabouts. Now I am caught up between a rock and a hard place.
Bethany is my friend but we don't know each other that well. She might have taken a last-minute job, maybe even lost her phone. I can't allow my mind to go through the worst possible scenario. I have to believe that she is fine. I also know that I have to do what I can to find out if she is okay.
