Tonight is the night of the charity gala, and I am a nervous wreck. I was going over my speech, a speech I didn't even know I had to prepare for until a few minutes ago. Dustin told me that Xavier always gives a speech at the gala dinner and since I am standing in for him, I have to do the speech.
I was hoping that my father-in-law could do it, but he is out of the country on some business in Columbia. The night hasn't even begun, and I can't wait for it to end. I never in a million years imagined that I would have to face this life thing on my own after Xavier came into my life.
