Chapter 27: The Necklace
Trevor POV
Biglang nag-ring ang cellphone ko kaya naman nagpaalam muna ako't umalis, I fished the phone in my pocket when I was on the terrace of the reception hall and answered the call without bothering to look at the caller ID.
"Trevor!"
I frowned upon hearing Clare's voice, "bakit ka tumawag?"
"Hindi ba date kita? Asan ka na? Nagsimula na ang auction dance!" Histerikal na hiyaw ni Clare sa kabilang linya dahilan upang kumunot ang aking noo.
"I don't remember agreeing to that." Asar na tugon ko.
I heard her loud sigh on the other line, "basta! Date kita! Asan ka ba, huh? Wala ako kaninang nag-bid ka, they told me na binili mo raw ang cheshire cat necklace worth five million, is that for me? Ang sweet mo naman baby-"
"Shut your mouth."
"Tch, asan ka ba?"
