“There it is,” Caine announced as the finish line came into view. They had finally come full circle to return from where they started. The lane into the park was crowded with onlookers all eager to cheer on the runners who made it. Though they had slowed their pace, they were still catching up with other runners who had grown fatigued. Alongside them, Bear perked up, sensing their run was nearing its end.
