“It’s been weeks! Why haven’t you found my daughter?!”
Sherriff Griffin bore the remark with a grimace as he faced the angry father. Liam McCoy was a prominent man in Serenity, though his self-importance was rather bloated. Outside of Serenity it meant nothing. Even so, Liam had the ear of the city council, which could make things difficult for his department if he wasn’t appeased.
