Nina stared at the crumpled mess that had once been a man. She had never seen such a thing before. Though he was still breathing, it was only barely. Just why had Caine gone to such extreme measures? It didn’t make any sense. “What’s your name, girlie?” Nina turned to see a woman in a leather cut standing in front of her. She scowled at the older woman, saying, “What’s it to you?” With a smirk, the woman stepped forward, grabbed a fistful of hair and slammed her head against the bar top.
