Eleanor was nervous as she pulled into a parking spot. According to the entry ticket, runners were to gather in the park. She looked at the crowd already congregating. They certainly seemed ready to run. Some were wearing tracksuits, others in regular workout clothes. Still, others wore shorts and tank tops despite the fact it was still only spring. It was the same menagerie she saw at such meets. In the back seat, Bear whined, hanging his head out the window and staring at the activity. She smirked, reaching over to give the Rottweiler a pat.
