Stacking the treats behind the table, Eleanor took a cookie jar out of her bag and filled it with treats to set alongside the cupcakes. She kept two of the treats and knelt beside the dogs, who happily accepted. The Rottweiler seemingly tried to climb into her lap, earning a laugh as Eleanor happily petted him. Of course, Bear must be her dog. The realization hit Caine suddenly as he recalled what Nailah had said earlier.
