“Who are you exactly?” Gus asked.
“This is Liam McCoy. Nina’s father,” Sam said.
Gus gave a curt nod. He knew as much, but he would never admit to knowledge the other party didn’t already know.
“Why did you call my daughter that?” Liam asked. “What is a Club girl?”
“It’s what we call girls who hang around looking for a thrill. Some of them are just looking for a good time or blow off some steam with no commitments. Some of them are trying to live some fantasy they read about or saw on television,” Gus explained. “They hang around the bar, have a few drinks with the members and usually end up in bed with one of them.”
“And you think my little girl was one of them?”
“I know she was. A lot of Brothers took her for a spin.”
