Thirty-Seven: Haven Haywood The safest way to get to Continuar, undetected, was by car. Preferably one that ran off of gasoline. Most everything ran off of magic, and those that did have to use electricity rarely owned up to it. It wasn’t legal. It had caused too many fires, too much pollution. But the trouble with magic was that it was rare, and not everyone had access to it. Mostly, it was regulated by the government, and to have magic you had to have money. Or be trained to use it, or get it illegally which could wind up with you in jail or dead depending on what you did with it. Electricity wasn’t easier to get access to.
