"It was all because of my heat," I defended myself as I took a bite out of the pancake.
"I did not say otherwise," he shrugged as he sat opposite me on the kitchen island. I watched as he took a bite and licked the sauce off his lips.
"What? Still feel devouring me?" He teased, snapping me out of my daze. "I'm fine now," I shoved a spoon of food down my mouth to cover my embarrassment.
"Looks like the doctor was right."
"Did I do anything weird after last night?"
He paused and looked at me like he knew something I didn't know. I shifted uncomfortably in my seat. I cannot remember anything after we both lied down in his bed last night. Surely, I couldn't have done anything worse.
