My heart was pounding as I knocked on the door, balancing the stack of files on my arms. I'd worked tirelessly to complete the project in the time allotted, and now I was anxious to see his reaction.
"Come in!" I heard the cold voice that sent shivers down my spine. Opening the door, I walked in, trying not to spill the files as I did so. They were so heavy, and my arms were starting to hurt.
Eduardo spared me a glance and resumed working on his computer. "I can never remember asking you to add an extra ten minutes for yourself, Miss Williams."
