Liam POV
I feel the tingles as I hold her hand tightly in my own. I head upstairs, listening to the steady sounds of her breathing, and make my way to the Alpha's wing, moving past her to open a door to the spare room. She grabs my hand, preventing me from turning the knob and I raise an eyebrow, surprised at her actions.
"Is this a spare room?"
I wonder at the question, even as I nod. She exhales, looking between me and the room. "Is there a reason you don't want to share a room with me?" she asks biting her lip.
I almost lose control of the simple enough question. I speak, my voice hoarse. "I thought that given everything you would prefer a guest room until you are ready to share a room with me."
