Hope POV
"You are the world's biggest i***t, do you know that?" I asked him derogatively, as he smirked at me, enjoying the view and the helplessness as I struggled to free myself. He had me tied to a bed with silver restraints, and I suspected the drug he had used had been a mixture of wolfsbane and sedative, as I could no longer communicate with my wolf. I was furious but unable to do anything except tug uselessly at the restraints in a vain effort to free myself, although it was proving to be a waste of time.
"i***t?" he repeated as he stood there, looking at me. " I'm not the one lying there helpless," he commented wryly, folding his arms across his chest and smiling widely.
