Cheers amongst the crowd. I peered anxiously through them, biting my lip. I knew that Liam was capable of this,, but after everything I had just gone through, I still had a small voice inside my head telling me to be worried for the father of our unborn pup. I had yet to inform him properly. I suspected he knew already. I tried to put a hand on my stomach, feeling the life of the child, imagining what I would be like as a mother. I had no notion of what kind of mother I would make, but then I hadn't exactly had a stepmother who was the perfect role model. Unlike Evelyn, I would love this child wholeheartedly.
