It had been two weeks since the Master vampire kicked me out of the castle. Me and Frankie had been pretty much hiding out in my apartment room, Frankie only leaving to get blood for the two of us. But now, the district leader meetings were over and it seemed like the Master was carrying on with the guard training without me. I didn’t really blame him for that, we had both seen how much the guard needed the training, both seen how far the guards had progressed in a short period of time.
The thing that stung was how the Master vampire really did seem to be moving on without me. I saw him in the corridor with Michelle, the last person in the world I would think he would take back. But, I could not deny what I had seen. He tried to turn everything back on me, but I had seen enough
