*Damian’s POV* I felt bad for Annabella, and I could understand her fear of being without me, I was her buffer against her family. Often she’d make the Pack House her home just to escape them. She was also the only one who understood what I went through growing up under my father’s roof, a father who hates his only son, and she could relate to an extent with her own personal set of experiences. Both our parents were cold and heartless toward us and I felt protective over her because of it.
