I shrugged out from his arm, freeing myself from his grip as I rolled out of bed, quietly. I was careful not to wake my sleeping mate, with the dark circles resting below his eyes, he really needed to rest and regain his strength. He looked peaceful, covered only partially by the soft cream linen of his bed, the only fabric touching his sexy-as-hell body. It was tempting to stay in bed with him, to watch his golden skin reflect the soft glow of the rising sun, but I was a girl on a mission.
