Avery POV
We reached the kitchen and proceeded to the dining table. Dad is sitting on his chair and I sit on my usual chair. Ali and Hanna greeted him and have a little chitchat about school including the upcoming school foundation.
Not too long after, mom, Chris and of course James came in view.
Oh my.. this looks not good for me.. I thought.
Chris and James look at me the same time. Chris has this questioning look with lips tightly closed.
oh great..I forgot he wanted to talk to me about earlier. Hopefully he won't tell our parents about my sudden outburst from school. I avoided his gaze. My heart is now scared of this situation.
Then I found James' eyes glisten looking at me which I also avoided immediately.
My brother sits in between me and James on the right side while mom on
