It didn’t take Ava long to get to the bakery, though finding parking had been more challenging than she’d imagined it would be. Charlotte had clearly chosen the spot well: the amount of car and foot traffic in front of the bakery was insane. The baby blue and white striped awning hanging over the door and windows made Ava’s lips curve up, and she wondered if there was some meaning behind the name Charlotte had chosen for the place. The inside of ‘The Orange Blossom’ was just as charming as the outside, with mint green walls and white wrought iron tables and chairs. It was artsy and cute, and Ava loved it. So did a lot of other people, based on the near-lack of available tables and the long line leading to the counter where Charlotte stood. She handed a mint-green box to the customer
