When Ally and Gus let themselves into her parents’ house, they could hear faint music reaching their ears as they made their way to the backyard and found them all chatting and having beer.
Ally hurried herself to greet everyone while Gus did the same, joking with Adam and patting his back as he gave him a cigar.
She walked up to where Alexa sat holding their newborn and pecked her on the cheek. She still looked a little exhausted as she breastfed him while gently humming, sitting on her parents´ lawn rocking chair.
-How are you holding?- Ally asked as she sat in front of her, opening a bottle of beer.
-It´s been a couple tough days to be honest- Alexa replied smiling at her- we´ve had some rough sleepless nights, but I think now we´re getting the hang of it at last.
