His golden eyes flicked to me, unreadable. “Out of the kingdom, dealing with important matters.” My brows furrowed. “For ten days?” His lips curved slightly, but the smile didn’t reach his eyes. “He’ll be here, be patient, mate.” His voice was soft, teasing.
