I was standing in a bath rope and a towel is wrapped around my hairs James was staring me from Head to toe
" What are looking at" I said to James
" Nothing" James said
" What are you doing here" I said to James
" I just wanted to talked to you " James said
" But I don't want too I resign from job I sent you a email" I said
" Yeah that's why I'm here" James said
I thought in my mind
" What he wants from me now oh God please help me "
" Okay but don't take too long and sit please" I said to James
Billy can you leave us alone
" Yeah sure " billy said and stand up he walked towards me and he came closer to me and whisper in my ear
" If he do something wrong to you just yell loud so I can hear you and came for your recuse I'm at upstairs" he winked at me and I gave him a thumbs up
James was watching the whole scene billy went upstairs and I turn my head towards James and said
" Why are you standing sit please"
James sat on couch and I sat opposite side on the armchair I crossed my legs and grab a cushion placed it on my lap. James was looking around in room
The living room looks a mess the books were scattered all around and coffee cups and a bowl of cereal were sitting on the table I feel embarrassed James picked up a book from the table and smile
" Oh Soo you liked to read romantic poetry" James said
" This is not my book it's my friend book she forgot it here" I lied
I thought in mind
" Please don't open the book please please please...
I squeeze my eyes shut to not see James and I hold tight the cushion which sitting on my lap after a breif moment I didn't hear from James so I open my eyes a little bit and saw James already open the book and looking at me James twitched his lip and smirked
" Ok fine it's my book gave me back" I said
James smiled and closed the book and placed on the table and said
" You don't need to lie and you are living with your boyfriend"
I roll my eyes and said
" You are not here for discussing my personal life so what you want to talk about "
" You can't resign from the job" he said in soft tone
" Yes I can " I said
" You sign a 2 years contract with our company you can't resign and I apologize for what I did it was just a misunderstanding " James said
I stand up the cushion fall on the floor I bent down to pick it up and I glanced under the couch
" Oh s**t I forgot about the dress"
I starts panicked and out of nowhere I said
" Do you want some coffee"
James said " yeah sure"
I saw this as opportunity and said
" But you need to help me"
James gave me a look
" What don't tell me you don't know how to make coffee "I said
James replied
" Yeah I don't know how to make coffee "
I can't control my laugh and starts laughing at him he looks embarrassed and I'm entertaining
" Stop laughing at me" he said
he throw a cushion at me and I dogde it he further said
" I have several servants who works for me so I don't have to do this kind of work"
I replied
" Oh yeah you are Rich Rich guy but I'm not so you need to help me I'll show you how to make a coffee but first I need to wear something"
He stand up and said okay sure
" Good I'll show you the kitchen and wait for me their"
I lead him to the kitchen and said I'll right back
I quickly run to living room and grab the dress from under the couch and went to my room I throw the dress on the bed and grab a hoodie and sweatpants from the closet and wear them and quickly went to the kitchen
James was standing their and rolling his shirts sleeves
" I'm here now let's starts"
James looked me and said
" Tell me how can I help you"
I said
" Gave me the water out of fridge"
He opened the fridge and grab a bottle of water and toss towards me I catch the bottle and said
"you got some tricks and gave me coffee from upper left shelf "
James smiled and grab the coffee jar from the shelf and gave to me
I take the jar from his hand and turn towards coffee maker I pour water into the coffee maker I try hard to open the lid of the jar but I couldn't so turn my head towards James he watching me constantly
" Can I borrow your muscles for a second" I said
James grin and came closer to me and said
" Of course you can"
He takes jar from my hand and opened for the lid for me I thank him and add coffee and turn on the coffee maker
I rest my back toward the island and said
" Now we have to wait"
We both were silent and looking at each other then I said
" I'm not coming back to work but I accepted your apology" he didn't answer my question and keep staring at me then he took a step towards me
He said
" Why you look familiar to me like I saw you somewhere but I can't remember where"
I starts biting my nails and said
' I work for you Soo you saw me in the office"
He said
" Maybe and can I ask you something"
My heart starts pounding out of my chest
" Yeah sure " I said
" Why you run from me in parking lot" he said
I thought in my mind
" Oh damn! He remembered that what should I say...
I clear my throat and said
" I was getting late for work and I didn't hear you"
He not look convinced with my answer I could see that on his face
" Then why run out of the elevator when I call you" he said
I thought in my mind
" This is it you are going into the jail and no one is gonna save you I should tell him everything and apologize for that maybe he forgive me or maybe not " I zone out
And then suddenly his phone it's ringing he said excuse me I have to pick this call I nodded
He went outside to pick the call and I sign relief after 3 minutes he came back
" Sorry I have to go it's urgent and I'll drink coffee with you some other day sorry " he said
I replied
" It's okay no problem"
I walked with him towards the door I open the door for him
He said
" Thanks it was nice meeting with you lara and sorry again I'll meet you tomorrow at office"
I was standing at the door I was watching him he was walking towards his car and then I realized he said he will meet me at office tomorrow
I yelled at James and said
" James I'm not coming back to office" but he was gone
