“Back entrance, now!” Conner had such a tight grip on me, I was certain I was going to bruise. He grabbed Daniel, who had hold of Tara, who in turn grabbed her brother, and Conner tugged everyone towards the back of the church. I hadn’t really bothered to look too closely behind every door in this church, so it sort of shocked me when Conner opened up the door past the bathroom that I thought for sure was another closet, and led us down a short hall to yet another, heavier door with a softly glowing exit sign above it.
“What the..” I muttered, but Conner just pulled me along a little faster.
