It has been a long and hard year, the road was not an easy one, even still, this has been the best year of my life. I fell in love for the first time, got my heart broken for the first time and even got shot for the first time. In all of this I have also had a lot to be grateful for.
A mother and brother that cares for me, a husband that would move mountains to make me happy and now I have one more thing to be grateful for, a cute and smart six year old boy who adores me as much as his father does.
I must admit that the first month was the hardest, I was still recovering and I didn't even know how to deal with a kid. Especially one that asked so many questions but when he called me "mom" I knew then that I couldn't turn my back on him.
