Harlee POV “Ash..”  I could sense them through our link.  I don’t know why I came back to this room, where our scents now mingled.  I wanted, no needed out, away for a little while.  Instead, I was pacing this room like a caged animal.  I heard the sounds of Leila fussing before I realized it was past time to feed her.  I sighed, plopping down on a pillow.  Ash stepped carefully into the room as though afraid I might attack them.  “I’m not.. mad at you Ash.”  I rubbed my forehead.  I swore I was going to wear a groove in the thing. “At me?  No.  At the world in general?  Yes.  I’d rather not be on the receiving end of that temper, thank you.”  Ash huffed.  I looked up at them in disbelief, and then a soft laugh escaped me as Ash settled in front of me, shifting an increasingly agitated L
