The morning after the challenge was different, I felt different. I didn't feel like there was darkness looming over me, the noise and voices I had once heard constantly seemed to be silent and potentially gone for good. I woke up in Killian's room and the sun was shining brightly through the window. I looked around but Killian was nowhere in sight.
