The last couple of days went by in blurs of passion-filled nights, and the days spent lost in the library while Killian and his father dealt with any specifics regarding Killian taking over control of the Underworld. I never really felt the need to stay for those particular meetings. They usually were dry, boring and all-around dull. The library was a much more interesting place and Ace usually joined me there throughout the day. My first impression of him was completely wrong, he wasn't the asshole I thought he was.
