It was the night of Ryliee and Kendryck's engagement party. I was upstairs in my room getting ready in the backless black dress Killian had bought for me. He had surprised me once again by taking me out this morning to get my hair, nails and make-up professionally done, which I was very grateful for as my hair has grown significantly since the accident. My long dark brown hair was pinned up in place with a few random little curls that cascaded down to give it a little more volume. We had spent hours at the salon having them wash, scrub and buff every inch of me that they could in preparation for tonight's event.
