Derek's POV:
I slowly woke up to the sounds of the gate alarm going off. I looked over and saw that it had only been maybe 45 minutes since I laid down. It was probably the doctor and I needed to get up to let him in. Who knows how long he has been out there ringing that buzzer.
I looked down and saw that Julie was still snuggled up against me. Her head was laying on my shoulder with my arm laying over her while her arm was wrapped over my torso. I could tell by the way she was breathing that she was still asleep and it scared me to leave her in case she were to try to hurt herself again.
The buzzer went off again and this time for a longer period of time. I carefully moved myself out from underneath her, hoping that she wouldn't wake up. I didn't want the buzzer to wake her up either
