Julie's POV:
I stepped outside of Mr. Brown's office and waited for Jake and Matthew to exit behind me. Once they had exited we started to walk down the hallway together towards the elevators.
"So where are you from, Julie?" Jake asked casually.
"Tennessee, sir," I told him and he hummed.
"I was thinking somewhere in Mississippi because of your accent and there's no need to call me sir. Jake will be fine." He corrected me.
"No problem, Jake," I told him and smiled.
I really enjoyed talking to him so much better than his brother. I did what I could to make sure I did not look at Matthew the entire time we walked to the elevators.
