Julie's POV:
The next morning I was up before the alarm had gone off. I looked at the clock and saw that I had an hour yet before it would so I decided I would get my shower done and over with earlier than later. I took a look at myself in the mirror and could see the busted lip and bruise that had formed overnight from when the guard had hit me. I ran my fingers over the area. It still felt sore to the touch. It made me wonder what Mr. Tol is going to say because this isn't going to be easily covered by makeup.
According to my schedule, I'm supposed to have a photoshoot today. I just took a deep breath and pulled my nightgown off over my head. I turned the shower on and got in while it was still cold. I shivered but it helped wake me up. I put my face under the water, enduring the sting
