Julie's POV:
Sleep came to me quickly after Braxton brought me back to my room even after he told me that I was sold. I have no idea how that happened. I don't recall being told I was put into an auction and he never said anything about it. He didn't tell me why or how, he just told me I was sold and walked out of the room. It really scared me to know that I will be leaving and going to another unknown place. If the pattern continues as is, the next place would surely kill me. The idea of it caused me to cry several times in my room after I had woken up.
Because of my sale, my calendar has been cleared off and the guards must have been told that I'm no longer available to work because no one has been let into the room. After a few hours of just standing in the room with no one coming in,
