Julie's POV:
I walked with my arm around Derek's as we entered the main room. There was soft music playing in the background as people waited for the event to start. It was very large with a balcony all the way around. There were huge pillars holding the balcony up and large curved staircases to take you from one floor to the next. The dancefloor filled the entire center of the room with tons of lights lighting it up. On the balcony and under it, there were tables all around. The lighting around the tables was softer and dimmer than on the dancefloor.
I felt Derek pull on my arm as he started to walk over to the side of the doors. I didn't notice them at first but there were a few tables with cash boxes on them on both sides of the doors. They appeared to be where people would
