Julie's POV:
Just the sound of his voice felt so real in my head that memories of him hitting me, choking me, and touching me flashed before my eyes that I could have sworn I heard him for real. The chills that went through my body at the sound of it suggested that it was real and when the images faded, I knew that he was standing behind me. Just the fact that I felt Derek's hands tighten their grip around me was enough to tell me that I wasn't dreaming the sound of his voice.
I slowly turned my head away from Derek's chest and looked over my shoulder, only for my heart to drop to the pit of my stomach when my eyes landed on him.
"f*****g you, Julie, really turned you into a w***e didn't it?" He snickered at me but I didn't say a word to him.
