Julie’s POV:
I quickly set the pillow down on the bed and stood up and held my hands together in front of my body and looked down at the floor. Something about him made him so much scarier than Mr. Tol ever was and Mr. Tol was bigger. I don't know if it's just his whole demeanor that makes me feel this way towards him or it's the way Aaron talked when he first found out who had bought me. Whatever it is, it has me scared of him.
“Sir,” I said, barely glancing up at him and then looking back down quickly.
