“Did Kai inform her about it?” she questioned herself rhetorically and fear gripped her immediately.
Her hands quivered in fear and she began to hyperventilate.
For some reason, she doesn't want Mrs. Wilfred to be aware of anything that happened in the garden.
Her phone beeped again and she sprung on her feat.
“Do not keep me waiting” this tripled the fear in her.
She walked out of her room and took the stairs that lead to Mrs. Wilfred's room. She prayed not to cross paths with either Rex or Kai, it will only worsen the fear in her.
Standing in front of Mrs. Wilfred's door, she placed a knock gently on it and waited for a reply.
“Come in” her commanding voice popped up and Ashley heaved huge sighs before she twisted the knot on the door and walked in.
Mrs. Wilfred was seated on the bed with her phone in her hands.
Ashley stared around looking surprised, she was expecting either Rex or Kai or both of them. Gulping down nothing she proceeded to greet but Mrs. Wilfred caught her off guard.
“I assume you lack the word ‘respect’” she didn't yell, but her words were brutal enough to rip Ashley's heart into pieces. She hates being addressed as irresponsible. And she has noticed that it works on both Mrs. Wilfred's and Kai’s blood. They are both used to heating the weakest part of one's heart.
“ Good afternoon” she greeted without remorse. She knew she was supposed to be guilty, but she would never be that way to a person like this. She tends to lose regard and remorse when a person says more than she expects. She has been that way since she was young.
“Save your greetings,” Mrs. Wilfred scrutinized her dangerously and Ashley scoffed.
“You requested to see me,” the sarcasm was clear in her voice.
“I didn't request to you, it was a command,” Mrs. Wilfred hated the fact that Ashley was acting Sarcastically like there is no big deal. She wants to be feared by this lady, but the lady in question is someone that could bow to you today and take all the respect from you in the space of one second.
“I didn't see that as a command you, know” she responded casually, and it was pissing Mrs. Wilfred off.
“Go to the grocery store and get some groceries,” She ignored her angry heart.
Ashley smiled dryly and scoffed a bit sarcastically,
“Why do I need to do that?” she questioned and Mrs. Wilfred foamed in anger.
“The last time I remembered you have sons and maids, why stress me?” her words were calm but rude.
“I choose to do what I wish to do, pick the Atm right now and get out of my room” she yelled at Ashley.
Ashley took the Atm card and walked out of the room, slamming the door angrily behind her.
Mrs. Wilfred smiled devilishly to herself, she likes that Ashley is innocent yet acts boldly.
“Silly girl, she thinks she is going there for groceries, but she is going there to be killed.” an evil grin secured the bream of her lips.
She is hoping for good news, news that Ashley would be eliminated soon and she would have her Kai to herself soon. Thinking about how Kai has been treating Ashley, anger sprung in her, she hated the fact that Ashley has taken everything that she spent 30 years to build.
Stepping out of the car Ashley walked into the grocery store with her phone and car keys in her hand.
She proceeded to the spot where she would get all the items listed in the book. She finished all she needed to buy and proceeded to pay for all the items she got.
She stepped out of the grocery store walked into her car, turned on the engine, and heat the road.
She was playing a song by one of her favorite musicians ( silence, by marshmallow). Then she suddenly noticed a car following her. That car has been on the road since she left their estate.
At first, she thought he had the same mission as her, but it was getting a bit suspicious. She placed her leg on the jar and began to drive fastly, and the other car fasten its ride also.
He was at a higher speed and it looked like he would get to her any moment from that.
Fear gripped her and she began to drive faster than she was supposed to. Her hands quivered in fear and her heart missed several beats. She was beginning to hyperventilate.
She fastened her pace and drove at the highest speed, it looked like she would get into an accident if she continues at the speed she is driving at.
Her car suddenly stopped abruptly in the middle, Ashley froze at her spot. She knew what has already happened. She already has a flat tire.
Staring through the window she noticed the car was close to her, and it was at that time that it dawned on her that she took the road that was secluded and mostly has little or no rides.
Her heart stopped beating for a while as fear gripped her.
