“Rex” She screamed, jumping on him the moment she had gotten to his point. And he grabbed her up placing her on his torso and giving in completely to the hug.
tears rolled out of her eyes as he pulled her up to his torso.
Yes, she won't lie to herself. She has missed this man, his scent, his kiss, his romance, and his touch. They drive her to the verge of craziness.
She places her head on his shoulder while he massaged her waist slightly.
He has missed this soul. He sniffed her fragrance in, and pulled her tightly to himself, he has missed her, her scent, her childishness, and how she makes him feel.
“I'm glad you are safe,” Rex muttered and she pulled away from the hug calmly.
He ruffled her hair slightly and she chuckled seldomly while he placed her on the floor and pulled her into a hug again, he likes to when she rests her head on his chest.
For his kind of man, she was petite.
“I'm so sorry you had to go through all that” he muttered and placed a kiss on her forehead after which he pulled her out of the hug.
“Hey lovebirds” Tracy cracked her throat jolting them out of their dovishness and they both chuckled.
She was standing in front of her man, Lacan and he had his arm wrapped around her waist.
“We are so sorry” Rex apologized to them for being over-s****l with Ashley in front of them while Tracy laughed.
Lacan was not completely a man of smiles. He prefers the hard look. It does suit him
Holding onto Ashley's hand he pulled her closer to himself and they both matched toward Tracy and her guy.
Lacan Tacan is in of the well-known mafia lord. He is most feared by everyone in the game. And seeing him there, he needed no one to tell him that he saved Ashley.
Tracy stared at them as they walked toward them. Their steps were in rhythm as though it was planned. She loves the both of them together and she has always admired them.
“Thank you so much” Rex uttered and stretched out his hand to Lacan the moment he got to them.
“You shouldn't always leave her by herself,” he muttered and welcome the handshake, ignoring his greetings.
Rex, stiffened as he said those words to her.
He hates the fact that she is not his, and for that he can't do much. Left to him he would never let her out of his sight.
“You should be grateful Tracy recognized the car from a Chinese restaurant, she would have been long gone.”
Ashley's heart sank to her stomach as she heard those words from him, it was the day she requested that Tracy never shows her face to her.
Rex squeezed Ashley's hand slightly and nodded in response to what Lacan said..
“Thank you so much, dude, but did you get to know who sent the assassin and why he was after Tracy?” he questioned and Lacan cut him a shot
“You should be focused on getting her home, she must be tired.”
Rex nodded and thanked Lacan before proceeding to go home.
“Mind if I join them,” she pouted, and Lacan nodded. He placed a slight kiss on her forehead and she followed Ashley and Kai.
“I will come to get you by 5,” he screamed behind them and Tracy smiled before hopping into the car.
The ride to the house was quite shot because of the road Ashley followed before. It was the shortest way yet the most secluded.
Rex was in charge of the ride while Ashley and Tracy maintained the back seat. They both giggled and chuckled at little things giving Ashley little or no room to think about the incident that happened today.
Driving into the compound, he pulled neatly at the parking lot, and Tracy and Ashley alighted.
Everything was quite confusing to Tracy, why were they are Rex’s house? She knew they had a lot of catching up to do.
Ashley held Tracy's hand and they proceeded to the mansion.
“I don't care if anybody has gone to get her I need to go get my wife” he yelled at the top of his voice, it was loud for anyone at the gate to hear.
“Don't go anywhere Kai, Rex has gone to get her.” she mattered trying so hard to stop Kai from going.
“If anything happens to Ashley, I promise I'm not going to forgive you” he yelled at his mum, and her heart shattered into pieces. He had never uttered such words to her. How come he didn't think twice before saying such to her?
Turning back to leave, the exit door consisted of three people, two were familiar, and the other was not.
His heart melted as he spots Ashley. He didn't know when he heaved a huge sigh and ran over to her, holding and checking her body like she had been missing for years
“Are you okay, did anything happen to you?” he questioned and pulled her into a hug, ignoring everyone's gaze on them.
“Did he hurt you, are you okay?” he questioned and tears streamed down his cheeks.
That tears shattered Ashley's heart, she wasn't expecting it to hurt him this much.
“Yes” she muttered feeling pathetic for him
Rex walked away from that place. He was really angry at what he was seeing but he had no option. He hates that his woman was being touched and kissed in front of him. He hates that he was helpless.
Tracy on the other hand was surprised and needed someone to explain everything to her.
“Why was Rex's brother doing such to Ashley” she questioned within herself.
“I'm sorry Ashley, I'm sorry I didn't come through for you. I promise it wasn't my intention.”He cupped her cheeks into his hands and pecked her on the lips.
Staring at everything Kai was doing with his woman. He fisted his hand in a fold trying so hard not to get angry but his brain couldn't take it any longer and without thinking twice he pulled Kai by the collar and landed a punch on his face throwing him off balance and causing a gasp from everybody
“All this wouldn't have mattered if you didn't leave her to be by herself, what kind of a man are you?” he yelled at the top of his voice anger resounding in his voice, and he punched him again without giving him a chance to retaliate.
