357 CHAPTER 41 German South West Africa, 1906Blake came to as the last warmth of the day was being swallowed by the cold desert night. Bluey nuzzled him. He reached up and touched the animal’s muzzle. Blake looked around, and the simple action of turning his head sent jolts of pain through his skull. He was alone, just him and Bluey.
