Rachel gulped down nothing as she suddenly felt nothing but to be buried, six feet underneath the ground.
Immediately she broke the alarming eye contact she shared with him and turned to stare directly at Jones.
“Are you okay?” Jones asked and she cleared her throat, trying to act like nothing happened, nodding her head to him afterward.
“I am absolutely fine, Jones.” she forced out a sly smile, a fake sly smile, and Jones stared at her for a few minutes trying to convince himself that she was doing fine as she had affirmed to him.
He nodded his head and reached out to his phone.
Rachel felt her body twitch uncomfortably as silence assumed the air.
Her nails were fighting a battle of entanglement, as she kept trying to
