Jane was lying on the bed, her stomach hurting insanely when she heard the sudden beep of her phone.
Squeezing her face cause of the pain she was feeling in her stomach, she managed to stretch her hand to the side of the bed where the phone was lying and picked it up.
Her face lightened the moment she saw the caller.
She quickly tapped on the receive button.
“Hello.” Her voice came out weakly and Will was quick to notice, but Jane was also quick to know that something was up with Will. He sounded drunk and she could hear it clearly from his voice.
