When I get to the office on Monday , I wish I could make myself invisible or come up with some way that I could go unnoticed to prevent everyone from continuing to see me that way , as the prospect of meeting with Dominic after I slept drunk in his bed and then having run away from home is already bad enough , now I also have to worry about all the whispers and murmurs that follow me from the moment I step foot into the office , and I feel my face turn almost as red as my hair.
As soon as I settle on my desk , I feel someone approach me, and when I lift my head I see Christina , the accounting girl who was nice to me during Friday's cocktail party , smiling at me friendly and with an excited expression , as if she was ready to do something amazing.
