Alice has spent half the night dancing and the other half drinking , and although she looks like she is having a great time , I can't help but feel a bit angry at the way Jonathan and Emily goad her to keep drinking , despite that she already seems to be drunk and to make things even worse , she has ignored me for most of the night , even when on a rare occasion I accompanied them to the dance floor , she preferred to start dancing with a stranger than with me , and soon I was surrounded by other employees of the firm , who after feeling the rejection of Jonathan , and clearly enthusiastic about the idea that their boss , the "snooty" one , as they call me , is in a club with his employees.
