When I notice that Alice is taking a long time to come back from the loo , I get ready to go find her and make sure everything is okay , as she seemed a bit affected by the news of Tom and Zara , which is strange considering the fact that it has been evident that Alice does not like Zara one bit and has basically not had much contact with Tom , so her expression of concern is unusual.
Although now that I think about it better , perhaps her concern has to do with the fact that I am prosecuting people who are trying to hurt Zara , and Alice probably thinks that I may also be in danger , or even she could be in danger too , so I better find her now to make sure she knows that we are not exposed to any kind of danger now , and it is less likely to happen in a country completely
